Ballhawks gets a mention in Jim’s latest book
Sitting at a front table with an earphone tuned to the game was Ballhawk Kenny,
who was proud to report he’d recently gotten a new job. Then his face turned sullen
as he admitted he wouldn’t be standing on Waveland during weekday games anymore.
Fellow ‘hawks, Moe Mullins and Rich Buhrke were there. They are subjects of a
documentary called Ballhawks being completed by Chicago born filmmakers Mike Diedrich
and Kyle McCarthy.
